Element Architectural Group was established as an entrepreneurial Architectural firm under the name Altman Architects in 1996 by its Principal and Owner Mr. Brian Altman. Brian Altman has been a licensed Architect in the States of New Jersey and New York since 1992 and has dedicated his career specializing in all types of commercial and private projects. From the very beginning, the firms mission focused on multi-faceted Architectural projects and the design of commercial, corporate, and private residential. These types of projects provided Mr. Altman and the other members of the firm the level of involvement, complexity and responsibility thats associated with these types of challenging and time sensitive projects and they account for a large percentage of the current workload in the office each and every year. Element Architectural Group also designs public facilities for a wide variety of public and municipal clients throughout the New York and New Jersey area. Today, the firm is known for being one of the key Architectural firms in the State that have expertise and a solid reputation in the field of Architecture and personal service to their clients. From 1996 till 2006 the office was located in historic downtown Englewood, New Jersey directly accessible to major New Jersey highways and five miles from New York City. As the firm continued to grow, and their client base expanded, the need for additional space became more apparent. In 2006, the firm moved to a newer and larger office in Paramus, New Jersey. The new office was custom designed by the firm specifically organized and structured to meet the growing needs and increasing size of the firm. Today, as the firm grows, it continues to gain and earn credentials and qualifications with many State Agencies and Authorities. It also continues to form widespread relationships with reputable and experienced Engineering consultants. Element Architectural Group is strong and continues as a full service professional Architectural Design Firm serving their clients wherever it may take them. Completed projects include new facilities, additions, renovations, alterations, changes-of-use, and building repairs and upgrades for a wide variety of buildings of various ages and construction types. As part of our standard services we also include specialized services such as feasibility studies, detailed estimating, site planning, geotechnical studies, value engineering, and construction scheduling services. In 2007 we were approved by the NJDPMC as Historical Preservation Architects. This additional credential has further broadened our expertise and we are currently working on projects which have a Historic component. Due to our flexibility and our ability to provide diversified services, we have remained strong and continue to assist our clients with all their professional design needs. All of our projects are developed in close coordination between you the Client and our team of professional Designers and Engineers. Element Architectural Group is fully insured and pre-qualified by many State agencies for public Municipal and Institutional projects throughout the State of New Jersey and New York. We currently maintain all pre-qualifications and classifications as experts in ADA Compliance and Historic Preservation. Brian Altman, RA AIA
As the principal Architect for Element Architectural Group, Brian's responsibilities include determination of the scope and program requirements in cooperation with the owner and other team members, attend and document all subsequent owner meetings, develop and oversee all specifications, bidding documents, and design detailing in the office. Responsible for developing construction cost estimates, schedules, and oversee performance of all construction administration services contracted for. My personal involvement and oversight of the design phase, design and contract documents and construction administration will be on a continual basis at all phases of the job. My professional experience not only includes Architecture and design; but construction and contracting as well. This wide range of experience and knowledge in the field has certainly been paramount in decision-making and communicating with others, especially contractors, during the Construction Administration Phase of a project. In terms of project types, I have a total of Twenty years of experience in various Commercial and Residential Projects. Past projects were taken from schematics through final completion. The nature of these past jobs has brought me in direct contact with State, Town and County Officials, Consulting Engineers, Code Officials, Public Administrators, Public Agencies, various Contractors, and other design professionals. Projects over the past couple of years have also included successful Design-Build relationships with various owners and clients.

Anthony Klymenko - Senior Project Manager
Mr. Klymenko has extensive professional experience not only in Architecture and design; but construction and contracting as well. He has spent several years working as a contract supervisor in the field for large construction projects. This wide range of experience and knowledge in the field has certainly been paramount in his decision-making and communicating with others, especially contractors, during every phase of a project. In terms of project types, he has over 20 years of experience in various Commercial, Residential, Municipal and Civic projects. Past projects were taken from planning and schematic design all the way through final construction close-out. The nature of these past jobs has brought him in direct contact with State, Town and County Officials, Public School Administrators, Consulting Engineers, Code Officials, Public Administrators, various contractors, and other design professionals. Mr. Klymenko's role on projects in the office is to manage the day-to-day operations relative to developing all construction drawings, design documents, and bidding documents. During the design phase, he is responsible for all correspondance between all design team members and the Owner and coordinate all construction details relevant to the successful completion of the project as per the specs and requirements of the project. His role also includes project management during the Construction Administration phase of the project including all submittals review, site visitations and coordination with the Project Manager.

Christopher Saunders - Junior Project Manager / IT
Mr. Saunders has over 6 years of experience in developing construction drawings and details for Commercial, Residential, and Public projects. He is a talented designer and has been accountable for many designs and the development of construction details for highly technical public and private projects within the office. Mr. Saunders has also been responsible for the coordination and management of multiple consultants and community boards on demanding time constrained projects. His proficiency in design, detailing, coordination and client relations has made him an essential component of Element Architectural Group. In terms of project types, he has experience in various Commercial, Single and Multi-Family Residential, and Public Institutional projects. The nature of these past jobs has brought him in direct contact with Public School Administrators, Town and County Officials, Historic District Committees, The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Consulting Engineers, Public Administrators, various Contractors, and other design Professionals. Mr. Saunders' role on a typical project is to assist the Principal and Senior Project Managers on developing and preparation of construction drawings including: Site documentation, floor plans, ceiling plans, building elevations and sections, roofing details, window and door details, masonry details, millwork and cabinetry drawings, as well as finish, door and window, and hardware schedules, and color 3d renderings. Mr. Saunders will also assist the Senior Project Manager by coordinating between the construction drawings, product requirements and specification manuals.

Cecilia Salcie - Office Manager
Ms.Salcie has extensive professional experience in preperation of Proposals; and assisting with the construction administration, project development and project management of projects in the office. Cecilia has been responsible to the Principal and Project Manager for the preperation of design development, implementation and management of construction phasing and construction scheduling for these same projects. Cecilia has a wide range of experience and knkowledge in the field, and this has made her a valuable asset to "Element Architectural Group." In terms of project types, she has a total of 1 year experience in various Public Safety, Municipal, Civic and Educational projects. Past projects were tracked from the programming and schematics phase through final completion and post occupancy phases. Cecilia's role on a typical project is to assist the Principal and Project Managers on development and preparation of construction. She provides continuous support and input to all team members during all phases of the Design and Construction Administration pf the project. She assists in the administration of the scope of services, for presentation to the Project Managers and all parties involved. Cecilia also assists the Project Manager on all correspondence between the Architectural Design team members and athe Engineering consultants for matters relevant to construction detailing and coordination of all Engineering components of the project with respect to project specifications and all other requirements of schedule and budget.
